From our Fans

I have been a member since 2023, and this is hands down the best gym I've ever been to. As a powerlifter, this place has everything I need. Even though it is a gym geared more towards powerlifting, Marietta Barbell is an excellent gym for Olympic lifters, as well as people who like to work out and stay in shape. The community is great as well. Everyone is super nice, approachable, and willing to help.

Squat: 545lb

I'll be honest, I didn't know what I was walking into when I told my boyfriend I'd join him at his gym. I'm not a powerlifter, barely a person who went to the gym regularly, but once I got past my own intimidation, I realized what a wonderful place it is. Everyone there is so supportive of each other, it's a welcoming and fun environment that gets you excited about working out (something I never thought I would say)! I truly appreciate the community, the cleanliness, and the resources this gym offers. There really is something for everyone whether you're a regular getting ready for your next meet, or someone like me just trying to get better about exercising regularly, this gym is for all!

Deadlift: 405lb

As a non-serious gym goer, I cannot overstate how strong the community in this gym is. I am a casual lifter and from day one I felt like a part of the community, which is primarily powerlifters and competitors for various sports. The equipment is varied and the only limitation in training is yourself, which even that barrier is largely brought down by the fact that you can always get a spot and it’s not at all unusual to hear someone encouraging a heavy lift. There are multiple squat racks and benches and deadlifting platforms, plus everything from foam rollers to medicine balls. Zack, the owner, makes the gym feel like family and is never shy about giving a helping hand whether it be fixing form or a spot. If you know how to lift, this is your gym. If you don’t know how to lift and want to learn, this is your gym. If you want a third place in your life, this is your gym.
